How does ConnectCare gets its objective achieved?
ConnectCare gets its objective achieved through its people first approach, on-time healthcare access, and innovative technologies. We will get to your loved ones no matter where they reside in Nigeria.
How do I register for ConnectCare?
Go online to www.novohealthafrica.org/connectcare and subscribe your loved ones. Subscription is free.
After subscription, Novo Health Africa completes the verification process of the beneficiary(ies) and sends you an email with a link and login details (Sponsor ID).
To confirm the beneficiary, choose the health plan, complete registration, and make payment.
What is Verification Process?
This is a process which requires Novo Health Africa to make physical contact with the beneficiary(ies) to verify their identity, collect their photo iDs, identify the hospitals they will use and subsequent provider journey for an exceptional client experience.
After I have completed registration of my loved ones under ConnectCare, what next?
Your sponsor ID allows you to log in to your private dashboard on ConnectCare and follow on-time on hospital activities of the beneficiaries.
You can also change or add more beneficiaries, and change plans (plans and beneficiaries can only be changed within 30 days of registration and no claims made or in the next policy year). You will receive information from Novo Health Africa on other support services.
You will be availed of all client service channels for timely communication on questions, suggestions, complaints, etc.
Is there a limit to the number of beneficiaries I can sign up for the product?
There is no limit, you can add as many beneficiaries as you choose to.
Can our group/company/family/town association sponsor beneficiaries as a group?
Yes, your group can sponsor as many beneficiaries as possible.
However, the group will identify a primary sponsor to receive the login details and sponsor ID for follow-up communications.
After making choosing plan and making payment, are there any other charges during access?
There are no further charges for benefits covered under the plan; no deductible or co-payments.
Are drugs and prescription covered within the premium?
All drugs and prescriptions for benefits under the chosen plans are covered within the premium.
Which hospitals are available under ConnectCare coverage plans?
Novo Health Africa has a wide provider network across the 36 states of Nigeria and Abuja. These hospitals are made available to the beneficiaries depending on the plan.
What if your network hospitals are not located within easy reach of the community or the hospitals around the communities are not in the network?
Novo Health Africa will likely have a provider within reach of most communities.
However, if the above becomes the case, we will carry out an assessment process of the hospitals and advise the beneficiary, keeping the sponsor informed.
What is the average premium?
The premium depends on the plan and ranges from bronze subscription to Platinum. All premiums are for an annual subscription. Please visit our website and register to get the quote.
Can premium payments be made on instalments?
Yes there is the possibility of making instalment payments. Please contact a ConnectCare agent during registration.
Does it mean that those on higher plans get better services than those on the lower plans?
No. it only means that they get more benefits like dental and optical services. The standard of care is the same across board.
Can I have access to Maternity care in the first year of registration?
Yes. Depending on the plan that you subscribe.
Will my new born baby be automatically covered on the scheme?
Yes. Only if you are on a family plan and have not completed the specified family size of +1 spouse and 4 biological children.
What happens to my premium if my family members or I don’t fall sick in the course of the year?
The premium forms part of the pool of funds from which everybody in the scheme benefits.
Are the benefit limits transferable?
No. The benefit limits are not transferable.
Since I will not pay for registration or consultation at the hospital, how would the hospital know who I am?
If you are registered on the scheme, capitation is paid in your name to your hospital of choice. All they need to do is to confirm your identity using a check list of either your Novo Health ID card having your name, or on the NHA provider portal.
